((I don’t claim to be a particularly good Maria.))
((Or RPer in general. A couple of people have told me I’m a good RPer and that my Maria is very good. I don’t know about that. I worry frequently about having her voice wrong.
But I read the comics before I picked her up. I studied her. I didn’t let my view of the actor playing her in an upcoming film cloud my judgement on how to play her.
If I ever drift OOC on Maria, or any of my accounts, I’d rather my friends told me and I fixed it rather than defended me and told me I could play my character however I like.
That’s what OCs are for. I play Stephanie how I like, how I have made her, because she is my OC. But even if I drift OOC on her I hope people point it out. She has a character that I’ve set up, a complex one. As does Maria, but she already had a character when I came to her.
And if anyone wants my headcanons on her, you’re more than welcome to ask.))
